Once this is selected your screen will display a sub menu with 5
choices, these are:-
Function keys logged off.
There are 12 positions and here you would normally assigned the
server keys.
Then you have Function keys trading.
There are 5 layers of these keys giving you a total of 60 positions. This
is where you would normally assign any of the function keys such as
void or split or refund and so on.
Then you have function keys payment.
Again there are 12 position and would normally assign payment keys
such as cash or credit or macro’s for fast tendering and so on.
The next selection is Top level trading keys.
Here you would normally assign list keys or pre-set products. There are
5 layers of these keys, each with 30 positions, giving you access to 150
key positions.
The final choice from the menu is Fixed areas, These refer to other
areas on the screen other than keytops. for example the date and time
box or the multiplier key.
You would need to refer to your manual for a complete listing of these
areas, but they are normally left alone.
Once you have selected the area of keys you want to set up, the screen
will change ready for you selections.
For an example we will select number 4, which is top level trading keys.
For this area you would normally assign list keys or presets but any key
can be assigned.

You will see that there are 5 pages of these keys, this means that when
the server enters into trading, 30 keys will be available and the server
can then press next or previous screen to view a total of 5 screens.
