Is the voltage of + 1.5 V applied to Pin 7 LDO terminal of IC701?
IC701 defective.

Is the voltage of + 1.8 V applied to Q701 collector?
Is the voltage of + 3.3 V applied
to R708 on C705 side?

Check the section, "Triangular waveforms for focus servo are not
generated."

Remove the disc.
Is optical pickup lens moving up and down?
Set the disc.  Are waveforms input to Pin 15 of IC701?
 (See Waveform Figure 8 at P60.)
Check the optical pickup wire rod.  If the rod is normal, the optical
pickup is defective.

Are tracking error signals output to Pins 4 and 5 of IC701 in CD
test mode 3?
Is tracking input to Pin 11 of IC701?
 (See Waveform Figure 10 and 12 at P60.)
Check the line between BI701 and CNS701.  If the line is normal, the
optical pickup is defective.
Check peripheral components of IC701.  If OK, IC701 is defective.

Is tracking output to Pin 34 of IC702 in CD test mode 4?
Check peripheral components of IC702.  If OK, IC702 is defective.
Is output available for the line between Pins 5 and 6 of IC704?
Check peripheral components of IC704.  If OK, IC704 is defective.

Check connection of the optical pickup wire rods between IC704 and BI702/CNS702.  If OK, the optical pickup is defective.
