4. 3. 4. Replacement procedure for lamp unit
1. Power off the projector and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
And wait at least one hour, and check if the lamp unit has cooled down.
2. Loosen the lamp unit cover fixing screw (one screw) until it turns freely, and then open the lamp unit cover
in the direction of the arrow.

Caution
・
Opening the lamp unit cover quickly may damage the cover.
・
If you loosen the lamp unit cover fixing screw with the projector

3. Loosen the lamp unit fixing screws (x3) counterclockwise until they turn freely, and then hold the handles of
the lamp unit and remove it straight.

4. Push in the new lamp unit while paying attention to the insertion position and reverse the disassembly procedures,
install the lamp unit cover.

・
If you are having difficulty attaching the lamp unit, remove it first and then push it in again slowly.
Pushing it in quickly or forcibly may break the connector.

Projector does not turn on by protection circuit, if lamp unit or lamp unit cover are incompletely-installed.
4. 3. 5. Air filter maintenance
1. The air filter is clogged with dust, causing the filter replacement message to appear on the screen and the FILTER
indicator to light in red. In this case perform maintenance.
2. The proceeds of the air filter clogging, becomes hot of projector inside, and TEMP indicator is lit , power shut down.
Then FILTER Indicator remains red , TEMP indicator will flash (twice) red.
3. The cleaning and replacement cycle of the air filter unit varies depending on the usage environment.
When the dust remains after cleaning, it is time to replace the air filter.
4. When replacing the lamp unit, it is recommended to replace the air filter as well.
Replacement lamp unit comes with air filter.
