(1) Remove the Top Cover. (See 8.2.6.)
(2) Release 2 clamps securing the wires
for Product
Version A.
(Release 1 clamp for Product Version B
or later.)

(3) Disconnect the connector to the CCD Board (B).
(4) Remove the 2 screws.
(5) Remove the Optical Unit Covers BL and BR.
(Only for Product Version B or later)

While leaning the unit forward in the direction of the
arrow (1), pull out the Optical Unit (B) backward in the
direction of the arrow (2).
