1.1.3 Performance test of the thermostat
Make sure that the appliance body is fully accustomed to room temperature.
1.  
Connect the power cord to a rated-voltage.
2.  
Set the timer to "15."
3.  
Measure the period of time with a stopwatch from the moment when the current starts flowing
through the heater to the moment when the thermostat operates to turn it off.
In case of conforming products:
The amount of time that passed before the heater cut out.
Model of 800W: 4 minutes to 7 minutes
In case of nonconforming products:
Replace the thermostat.
Reference
The period of time before the thermostat starts to work is shorter in used products than new
products. This is because the sensing surface of the thermostat and its surroundings are
contaminated due to long-time use. Also, dirt absorbs heat.
