DIP SWITCH SETTING OF SCSI-IDE BOARD
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Test Equipments Required

The following Test Equipments are required for
adjustment of the Extension Unit WJ-HDE500B/WJ-
HDE505B/WJ-HDE510B.

Digital Voltmeter

Ceramic Screwdriver
2. Disassembling Procedure for
Adjustment

Referring to Fig. 2-1, remove eleven screws that secure
the Top Cover and remove the Top Cover.

3. Setting Up for Adjustment

Disconnect CN101, CN103 and CN104 on the Power
Input Board.

Connect the resistors to CN103 on the Power Input Board
as shown in Fig. 3-1.

Adjusting Controls on the page 5.
(1). +12V/+5V Adjustment
Test Point:
E2 (+12V)
Power Input Board
E3 (+5V)
Power Input Board
Adjust:
VR1 (+12V)
Power Board
VR2 (+5V)
Power Board

Turn on the power.

Connect the Digital Voltmeter to E2.
8
Adjust VR1 to obtain +12 V ± 0.10 V DC.

Connect the Digital Voltmeter to E3.
8
Adjust VR2 to obtain +5 V ± 0.05 V DC.

When replacing the SCSI-IDE Board, confirm that the #1 -
#8 of Dip Switch (SW1) on the SCSI-IDE Board are set to
OFF position as shown in Fig. 1.
