Disturbance Power
4.3.1
Site and Test Description
Testing was performed in accordance with CISPR 13
The unit was placed on 5.8 m by 6.4m reference ground plane and a power cord was extended to 6 m in
length and laid in a straight line across a 0.8m high non-conducting support. An absorbing clamp was
placed around the power cord and was moved along the lead to determine the maximum value of
disturbance power. This test was performed on all other leads of length 25 cm or more, measured by means
of the absorbing clamp.
Initially a scan was made in peak mode from 30 MHz to 300 MHz. Selected frequencies were identified
and signals were measured with quasi peak (QP) and average (AV) detectors. The results were compared
with the appropriate limits.
