SERVICING  NOTES
IMPORTANT  NOTE  OF  “INITIALIZING”
The purpose of “Bluetooth Initialize” is to initialize the Bluetooth
connection history (HF/Audio Streaming). (To delete the device
information for the devices that you connected to when searching,
etc.)
When the BT board or MAIN board (including BT board) are re-
placed, it is necessary to initialize this set.
Refer to the following, initialize this set.
Note: Phonebook data and dialed/received call history can be deleted by
executing “Reset.”
UNLEADED  SOLDER
Boards requiring use of unleaded solder are printed with the lead-
free mark (LF) indicating the solder contains no lead.
(Caution:  Some printed circuit boards may not come printed with
the lead free mark due to their particular size)
 : LEAD  FREE  MARK
Unleaded solder has the following characteristics.
•  Unleaded solder melts at a temperature about 40 °C higher
than ordinary solder.

Ordinary soldering irons can be used but the iron tip has to be
applied to the solder joint for a slightly longer time.

Soldering irons using a temperature regulator should be set to
about 350 °C.
Caution: The printed pattern (copper foil) may peel away if
the heated tip is applied for too long, so be careful!
• Strong
viscosity

Unleaded solder is more viscous (sticky, less prone to fl ow)
than ordinary solder so use caution not to let solder bridges
occur such as on IC pins, etc.
•  Usable with ordinary solder

It is best to use only unleaded solder but unleaded solder may
also be added to ordinary solder.
Replacing the lithium battery of the card remote
commander
Under normal conditions, the battery will last approximately 1 year.
(The service life may be shorter, depending on the conditions of use.)
When the battery becomes weak, the range of the card remote commander
becomes shorter. Replace the battery with a new CR2025 lithium battery.
Use of any other battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.

swallowed, immediately consult a doctor.
• Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a good contact.
• Be sure to observe the correct polarity when installing the battery.
• Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers, otherwise a short-circuit
may occur.
WARNING
Battery may explode if mistreated.
Do not recharge, disassemble, or dispose of
in fire.
