SYMPTOM
During playback of the compact disc, intermittent dropout may occur due to

CAUSE
Spring cushions loosing rigidity and servo circuit response too slow.
ACTION
Change the spring cushions as indicated in the diagram on page 2.
Also carry out the following circuit modification.
1. Change C125 for the part indicated below.
2. Remove capacitors C123, C126 and C127.
3. Change R115, R116, R118, R119 and R123 for the parts indicated below.
