SECTION 3 - REPAIR INFORMATION
REPLACING THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD
1.
Disconnect all connectors from the Power Supply Boards, then remove
all screws from the board to be replaced and lift to detach.
2.
Install the new Power Supply Board, screws and connectors.
3.
Update the Software.
After ALL repairs UPDATE the SOFTWARE to the latest version.
Instructions are included with the Software package on the Sony
website.
a.
Insert the USB device with the latest Software into the TV.
b. Press
POWER
to turn on the TV.
c.
Wait until the Software update is complete and the TV turns OFF.
REMOVING THE SPEAKERS
1.
Disconnect 1 connector from the Speaker Box and lift to detach.
2.
Disconnect 1 connector from Speaker Box (Woofer), then remove 3
screws and lift to detach.
3.
Remove 4 screws from Bracket, SP as shown, then lift to detach.

REPLACING THE SWITCH UNIT
1.
Disconnect connector from Switch Unit, remove 2 screws and lift to
detach.
2.
Install the new Switch Unit, screws and the connector.
