(Use the communication jig, PC and Minolta color analyzer:CA-100)

 
5-1. Connect the external SG to the DVI input of the jig.

5-2. Setup the jig as shown below.

MAX_PLS1 = Hi, MAX_PLS2 = Hi, DITHER = Hi

5-3. Send the RS232C command "UAJ" to set the Digital Video Assy

keyword to "Not adjusted".

(Then, even if the wrong value is used for adjustment, the value is not backed up.)

5-4. From the external SG, input a 60Hz signal of 100% white.

Adjust RGB parameters (PRH***, PGH***, PBH***) to set the values to the values shown below table with the Minolta color 
analyzer (CA-100).
At this time, set any one of PRH - PBH to 256, and adjust two other parameters using values less than 256.

5-5. The RS232C command "GPW" is sent by the computer and the adjustment value set is confirmed.

If it is different to the value set it is adjusted again.

Note: to return to the pre-adjustment value, it is possible to recall the backup value using the following method:

Method: After sending the RS232C command "BCP", switch AC OFF/ON and the original backed-up value will be restored.

5-6. The external SG signal frequency is changed to 50Hz, and the RGB parameter is changed to the same value as above again.

(Because internally there is a different adjustment table, using 50Hz frequency and the other frequency, double adjustment is 
necessary.)

5-7. In the same way as 5-5 above, send the command "GPW" to confirm the returned adjustment.

The returned adjustment value is returned If the value set is different, readjustment is done without changing the signal frequency.

5-8. The RS232C command "FAJ" is sent and the digital video circuit board is ... adjusted.
