1. Preparation
1) Disassemble or assemble the lens as shown in Fig. 4-7-1.

2) Set the focus to infinity end.
2. Adjustment Method
1) Loosen one screw fixing the focus brush.
2) Adjust the position of the focus brush as shown in Fig. 4-7-2, and fix it with screws.

Note:
Adjust so that the cut portion A of the pattern on the brush flexible board matches to the contact portion B of brush.
3) Confirm the conduction between 3rd pattern and 4th pattern from top with a tester as shown in Fig. 4-7-2.
No conduction: OK (The contact portion B of brush is on the cut portion of pattern A.)
Conduction: NG (The contact portion B of brush is not on the cut portion of pattern A.)

4) Rotate the MF ring from the infinity end to the near end and from the near end to infinity end and confirm the position of the focus
brush.
5) After adjustment, apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the screw heads.
