4-4-2. Flange Back (f’F) Adjustment
Equipment
• 1000 mm Collimator
• Flange Back Tester
• A-mount Attachment
• Flange Back Gauge (43.50mm)
• Adhesive bond (B-40)
Adjusting Method
1)
Depending on the result in “4-4-1 Confirmation of flange back (f’F)”, calculate the shift amount and adjust the thickness of back
adjustment washer.
Shift Amount (x) = f’F (measured value) - 44.58mm
2)
Remove the back adjustment washer and measure the thickness of back adjustment washer with micrometer or calipers. Then, select
a back adjustment washer with suitable thickness.
When the shift amount (x) is the negative (-) value, decrease the thickness of back adjustment washer.
When the shift amount (x) is the positive (+) value, increase the thickness of back adjustment washer.
