2-5-2. CHECK BY HAND FEELING

Rotate the rotary ring clockwise to make the lens-barrel protruded a little until the burrier is opened.

Repeating the same operation, check the gears at the root of lens-barrel for damaged tooth, chipping, or contamination in overall

If no abnormality is found, proceed to the next step.
* If any abnormality is found, it will not be corrected by the zoom motor unit replacement or repair, and thus go to the lens unit
replacement or repair.
2-5-3. INSTALL NEW ZOOM MOTOR

Solder new zoom motor unit to the flexible board, and engage and bond the sensor to the gear case.
As an adhesive, use the “Super X” or equivalents.

Affix the protection tape to the motor full periphery where the tape was peeled off in step 2.
* Affix the tape firmly as the tape, if peeled, will enter the gears.
* If the tape affixing capability is not strong and it cannot be reused, cut the “SHEET” part number: 2-580-751-01 to 20mm
