1-1. NOTE FOR THE INTERNAL MEMORY
When a “Memory Stick Duo” is inserted in the camera, images are recorded on the “Memory Stick Duo”.
Note that the camera cannot copy or transfer images directly between the internal memory and a “Memory Stick Duo”. Use the “PMB”.

1-2. PASSWORD LOCK
Once the password is set, images in the internal memory cannot be played back.
In case of needing to read images in the internal memory from the password locked set, release the password locking.

1. Slide the lens cover.
2. Press the POWER button to turn off the camera.
3. Press (Playback) button while pressing the W side of the zoom (W/T) button.

1-5. PRECAUTION ON REPLACING THE SY-211 BOARD
ERASING THE DATA IN NETWORK SETTING
When replacing the SY-211 board, erase the data in customer network setting data of the board before replacement.
Refer to Service Manual ADJ, and perform “NETWORK SETTING RESET”.

DESTINATION DATA
When you replace to the repairing board, the written destination data of repairing board also might be changed to original setting.

USB SERIAL No.
The set is shipped with a unique ID (USB Serial No.) written in it.
This ID has not been written in a new board for service, and therefore it must be entered after the board replacement.

MEMORY)
Note:
When replacing the CN-396 board, erase the data in internal memory of the board before replacement.
The application “PMB Portable” has already built in the internal memory.
In case of replacing the CN-396 board or IC101 (internal memory) with new one, perform followings.

1. Format the internal memory with “INTERNAL MEMORY FORMAT” of the automatic adjustment program.

1-4. PRECAUTIONS AFTER THE SY-211 BOARD OR WIRELESS LAN MODULE
(CP901) WAS REPLACED
1. Refer to Service Manual ADJ, and perform “DESTINATION DATA WRITE”.
2. Retrieve the access point to confirming the operation of wireless LAN.
3. If the SY-211 board or wireless LAN module (CP901) is replaced, the MAC address is changed, and thus the re-setting is required.
