demo - demo mode selection
Demo mode is intended for demonstration purposes. A fixed location is given to the unit
(Hamburg Werderstraße). In service garage mode, select

DEMO-MODE using the right rotary

control and press to confirm. Select between

ON and OFF by briefly pressing the right rotary

control. By holding down the right rotary control, the setting is adopted. You can now enter a
destination as described in the operation guide. To switch off demo mode, select

OFF with

the right rotary control and press to confirm.

Entering the code number
If the car radio is disconnected from the power supply, it is theft-protected upon reconnection.
After switching on via the “

ON” button, the prompt “Enter Code Number”, is displayed.

The five-digit code must then be entered using the multifunction buttons “1 - 7”.
The unit automatically switches when the fifth digit is entered and all other digits have been
entered correctly.
If an incorrect code number is entered, the prompt

CODE is displayed again. After entering an

incorrect code three times

WAIT is displayed and the unit is disabled for approx. 60 minutes.

Inserting portable panel
If a new portable panel or one from another unit is utilised, the code number must be entered,
as previously described, in order to activate the unit.
