• As there are some mistakes in “
[5] ADJUSTMENT OF PHASE SHIFT KEYING VCO
” on page 13, perform adjusting with the
following adjustment.
[5] ADJUSTMENT OF PHASE SHIFT KEYING VCO (PSK VCO)
Setting:
Adjustment Location :
 RF Board
Procedure:
1. Set so that sound is produced from the speakers connected to TA-DL100.
2. Press the function switch  CD1  on the touch panel (RMR-TP1).
3. Check that the  ERROR  indicator of RMR-TP1 is off. (If lit, perform
[1] ADJUSTMENT OF REMOTE CONTROL RECEPTION
WAVE DETECTION
again, or repair the communication function of REMOTE CONTROL.)
4. Play all music sources of the devices connected to TA-DM100 (CD player, TAPE 1, TAPE 2) to input the audio signal.
5. Adjust VOLUME so that two to four  VOLUME  indicators of RMR-TP1 light up.
6. Adjust CT103 (PCM TUNER OSC) so that the frequency counter reads 39.95 MHz.
7. Rotate CT104 (PSK VCO) completely until the TOP arrow faces the CT103 direction. No sound will be produced from the speakers
connected at this time.
8. Rotate CT104 (PSK VCO) slowly until the speakers start to produce sound and stop rotating there.
9. Adjust CT103 (PCM TUNER OSC) and check that sounds are produced from the speakers when the frequency counter reads from 39.2
MHz to 39.8 MHz.
10. Perform [4] ADJUSTMENT OF PCM TUNER OSC again.
11. After adjusting, rotate the  ROOM NUMBER  switch for one click, and press the  TAPE1  button of RMR-TP1 to switch the function.
Check that sounds are produced from the speakers at this time. (The  ROOM NUMBER  switch always must be rotated in the same
direction.)
12. Then rotate the  ROOM NUMBER  switch for one click, and press the  TAPE2  button of RMR-TP1 to switch the function. Check that
sounds are produced from the speakers at this time.
13. Next rotate the  ROOM NUMBER  switch for one click and try the CD1, TAPE1, and TAPE2 functions in several ways, and check that
sounds are produced from the speakers for all functions.
