ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS
Adjust it as follows after the optical traverse unit (DBU-3), RF board, MAIN board, master control IC (IC705), digital signal processor
(IC706) and EEPROM (IC702) are replaced.

4. MODE SETTING FOR SHIPPING (perform this mode only when EEPROM (IC702) is replaced)

Software version of the system is confirmed.

jog press the [POWER] button to turn the power on and enter the Test Mode and
display “DIAG MODE”.

1. Connect the oscilloscope to pin 27 of CN702 on the MAIN board.
2. Insert the disc (HLXA-509). (Part No. : J-6090-090-A)
3. Confirm the waveform at that time because the disc is distinguished at chucking moment.

5. When step 4 is NG, R892 and R893 on the MAIN board are changed and the waveform is measured again.
In case of the specified value or more: Change R892 and R893 to 110 k
Ω
(part No. 1-218-896-11).
In case of the specified value or less: Change R892 and R893 to 130 k

(part No. 1-218-898-11).
