SERVICING NOTES
UNLEADED SOLDER
Boards requiring use of unleaded solder are printed with the lead-
free mark (LF) indicating the solder contains no lead.

Unleaded solder has the following characteristics.

NOTE OF REPLACING THE WIRELESS LAN MODULE
(11SA-NS500)
When replacing the wireless LAN module (11SA-NS500) (Ref.
No. MOD1), MAC address is changed. Print the following expla-
nation, cut it, and hand over it to the customer with the unit, when
returning the set that the repair is completed to the customer.

MAC address of this unit has been changed by this repair. The
customer who uses the MAC address fi ltering function of con-
nected access point equipment please set it again. MAC address

PROCESSING OF REPLACING THE WIRELESS LAN
MODULE (11SA-NS500)
When replacing the wireless LAN module (11SA-NS500) (Ref.
No. MOD1), peel the service TAG stuck on the bottom side of a
main unit, and stick on the new service TAG (refer to the follow-
ing fi gure) enclosed with the new wireless LAN module (11SA-
NS500) (Ref. No. MOD1).

When replacing the wireless LAN module (11SA-NS500) (Ref.
No. MOD1), peel the service TAG stuck on the bottom side of a
main unit, and stick on the new service TAG (refer to the follow-
ing fi gure) enclosed with the new wireless LAN module (11SA-
NS500) (Ref. No. MOD1).
CHECKING FOR NETWORK OPERATIONS
Equipment Used:
PC (WINDOWS XP/Vista/7)
Router (802.11b/g, WPS-compatible)
If there is no WPS-compatible router and it is desired to download
the software for connection (Network Speaker Wi-Fi Utility), con-
tact our Service Division.
Two LAN cables (Category 5 compliant, normal or shield type)

3-2. Method of checking the connection through WPS
Prepare a WPS-compatible wireless router. Then press the
SA-NS500’s WPS key.

CAUTION
When you check wireless connection during servicing, the connection
setup will be changed. At the time of returning the set to the customer
after servicing, you should inform that wireless connection setup is to be
made again when using the set in wires connection.
