6.  When Bluetooth connection is completed, the home menu is 

displayed and the blink speed of the indicator (blue) becomes 
slow.

Note 3: When automatic connection is stopped during WALKMAN start-

up or connection is failed, press and hold the [PWR OFF/HOME] 
button for about two seconds to turn off your “WALKMAN” 
(“WALKMAN” screen displays “POWER OFF”), then press any 
button of “WALKMAN” to turn the power on again.

 

It may take time for a while until it connects.

NOTE  THE  SUPPORT  M  REPLACING
When the SUPPORT M is replaced, peel the BT alignment label 
off, and stick it on to the new SUPPORT M with reference to the 
following fi gure.

ABOUT  CONNECTION  WITH  THE  WIRELESS  STEREO  
HEADPHONE  AFTER  “WALKMAN”  REPAIR
When “WALKMAN” settings are initialized, or when the boards 
and attached wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) are 
exchanged, you must make the Bluetooth connection. Make the 
Bluetooth connection according to the following procedure.

Note 1: When the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) is ex-

changed, BD address in the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-
NWBT10) is changed.

 

Therefore, BD address registered into “WALKMAN” becomes 
invalid.

 

In order to search the device, press the [u

/POWER

] key of 

wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) for about 7 seconds, 
and search “WALKMAN”.

Prior confi rmation:
Delete the device of the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-
NWBT10) registered into “WALKMAN” at the time of factory 
shipments.

Deletion method:
1.  Press any button to turn on your “WALKMAN”.
2.  From the home menu, select “ ” 

 “Manage Added Devices”.

3.  Press the [PWR OFF/OPTION] button to bring up the option 

menu.

4.  Select “Delete Device” 

 “MDR-NWBT10”  “Yes”.

Note 2: In this sentence, the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) 

is written as Bluetooth headphones.

1.  Press any button to turn on your “WALKMAN”. If “HOLD” 

appears on the top of the screen, slide the [HOLD] switch.

2.  Connection with the Bluetooth headphones starts automati-

cally.

3.  Equip ears with the Bluetooth headphones.
4.  Press and hold the [

u

/POWER] button of the Bluetooth 

headphones for about two seconds until the indicator starts to 
blink.

Press the [u] button 
for about two seconds.

5.  The beep sound is generated and the indicator blinks blue, and  

Bluetooth connection of the Bluetooth headphones is started.
