After disassembling, and assembling this set, be sure to execute the
electrical asjustment that has been described to the following.

ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT
To execute the electrical adjustment, you operate it by the test mode.
Refer to original service manual “SECTION 4 TEST MODE” (page 10) for setting method and releasing method of test mode.
Hall Calib.
Jog shuttle (Hall IC) calibration mode.

Procedure:
1. The item is selected by pressing
[VOL +] [VOL -] key, and the
item is decided by pressing
B x key.
2. The shuttle switch is set to
[HOLD], and B x key is pressed.
3. The shuttle switch is set to center position, and
B x key is
pressed.
4. The shuttle switch is set to
[FOLDER +], and B x key is
pressed.
5. The shuttle switch is set to
[FOLDER -], and B x key is
pressed.
6. When succeeded the calibration and some keys are pressed,
set reboots automatically.
If fail, the error display is displayed. Return to step 2 again.
7. HCAL-TXT
fi le is deleted.
Error display:
“CALIB ERROR! GAP”: Difference between each position is too
small.
“CALIB ERROR! LIN”: X,Y axis may be twisted. Something
like hall element defect.
“CALIB ERROR! ???”: Undefined errors. (Such as calibration
data write error to NAND.)
