ABOUT  REUSE  OF  THE  BATTERY  ASSY (BAT1)
It cannot reuse, when the battery assy (BAT1) is removed from ad-
hesive sheet (in the plate (LCD)). Be sure to replace the new parts.

ABOUT  INSULATING  OF  THE  BATTERY  ASSY (BAT1)
When the battery assy (BAT1) is removed from board, insulate the 
end of battery wire by a tape etc. to prevent short-circuited of the 
battery wire part of battery assy (BAT1).

NOTE  OF  DISPOSAL  OF  THE  BATTERY  ASSY (BAT1)
When dispose the battery assy (BAT1) of this unit, be sure to dis-
posal to peel off the “batt sheet” from the lithium ion storage bat-
tery pack.

METHOD  OF  DISTINGUISHING  THE  “WALKMAN”  
MAIN  UNIT
The initial setting of the factory shipment is different on the sup-
plied headphones of the “WALKMAN” main unit.
To distinguish whether the model of the “WALKMAN” main unit 
is supplied with either headphones, there are two ways of follow-
ing.

In the case of such a state in which the main unit does not work, or 
the screen is not displayed, distinguishing to check the label on the 
inside of the “WALKMAN” main unit.
(Refer to the “SECTION 2 DISASSEMBLY” on page 11 or later)

If the “WALKMAN” main unit is working normally, please distin-
guish by using the tool.
Operation method of tool, refer to “2-3. Destination and supplied 
headphones identifi cation” on page 7.
Used tool:

(“yyyymmdd” represents the date of release)
