The DAB TUNER MODULE that is usable in this model is shown below.
Before starting replacing the DAB TUNER MODULE, confirm that the replacement DAB TUNER MODULE has the following label by
checking the label attached on the replacement DAB TUNER MODULE.

When location of installation of the DAB TUNER is changed, the tuner may not have a good reception. In other words, signal reception of
this product depends on a place where it is installed. Therefore, be sure to execute Initial Scan as described below before starting repairing the
DAB TUNER.

[INITIAL SCAN Procedure]
Once the INITIAL SCAN has started, never press any button of the product or any button of remote commander while the INITIAL SCAN
is in progress.
If any button is pressed before the INITIAL SCAN is completed, the INITIAL SCAN will be aborted.

1. Turn the [VOLUME] control knob counter-clockwise so that the VOLUME is set to minimum.
2. Press the [FUNCTION] button so that the FUNCTION is set to DAB.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
4. Press either  V  or  v  button to select “SCAN YES”.
5. Press the [ENTER] button to start INITIAL SCAN.

Before returning the finished product to client upon completion of repair work, be sure to execute Cold Reset as described below.

When Cold Reset is executed, the product becomes ready so that the INITIAL SCAN will be executed automatically.

1. Press the

  button to turn ON the main power.

2. Press the following three buttons simultaneously:  

x

  button,  

A

  button and  

?/1

  button.

3. The message “COLD RESET” will be displayed on the front panel display so that all setup values other than the DVD OSD setup

value are reset.
