SYMPTOM Slow rewind.
CAUSE
This can be caused by either of the following.
1.  Brake torque of take up reel is too high due to contamination of the slow brake
lever.
2.  After a period of use the felt pad on the video search brake lever hardens.
ACTION
1.  Replace the slow brake lever and clean the take up reel.
2.  Replace the video search brake lever.
