SYMPTOM The unit cannot be tuned.
CAUSE
Defective zener diode, IC1005 and fuseable resistor R760.
ACTION
Carry out the following circuit improvement.
1.  Replace IC1005 and R760.
2.  Measure the volt drop across R760 and compare with the list below and fit resistor
in parellel as indicated.
4.2V or greater
