No sound-3

No audio output from SP

Checklist
1)  Is the volume set to MIN or MUTE on the remote control?
• • • Set the desired volume.
2) Is the ANT-CABLE and the HDMI terminal disconnected or connected improperly?
• • • Connect it correctly as per the operation manual.
3) In repair, an external input may be carried out and the standard signal of 1080P (60Hz) containing an audio signal may be checked.
(IF-UNIT)
Check whether each terminal of SP terminal (P6901) is struck by bits of metal,
and sound appears in Speaker.
(IF-UNIT)
YES
Check whether the L/R audio signal is outputted from IC6902 (1 bit-AMP).
L-CH: 1-6pin, RCH: 31-36pin

Check whether the audio signal is outputted from IC6951 (SUB-P-AMP).
SW (+): 15-17/44-46pin,
SW (-): 20-22/39-41pin
NO
Is the DAC_A_OUT signal output in (59) pin of IC6804 (S-DSP)
and is the SP_L/R_POS signal output to (62) (61) pin?
YES
Check the input line, the power supply, the MUTE line, and sol-
dering of IC6902 (1bit-AMP) and IC6951 (SUB-P-AMP).
NO
Is the FPGA_DATA/CLK signal input in (26-29) pin of IC6804 (S-
DSP) and is the SUB_DATA/CLK signal input to (30-33) pin?
YES
Check the I2C signal, X-TAL (X6801), the power supply, and sol-
dering of IC6804 (S-DSP).
NO
It seems that abnormalities are between IC7103 (FPGA), IC6201
(DECODER), and the HDMI input. Please return in front.

Is the difference input signal (RX [0:C]
±) input to [25-35] pin of
IC6004 (TMDS-SW) normally?

NO
(HDMI-INPUT-TERMINAL)
Is IC6001 (E2PROM) accessed by I2C, and is data read from (5)
(6) pin?
NO
Check the peripheral circuit of a HDMI terminal (SC6001), and
connection of a HDMI terminal.

YES
Check whether there is any I2C access in re-writing about the
EDID data of IC6001 (E2PROM).
NO
Check the I2C line of IC6003 (I2C-SW) and IC7002 (MICON),
and the EDID_WP signal of IC6702 (CPLD).

YES
Check the peripheral circuit of HDMI terminal (SC6001) and
IC6004 (TMDS-SW).
