TUNER circuit and IC7508 (COFDM - DEMOD)?
(Refer to a circuit diagram.)

NO

Each power supply circuit is checked.
(IC7502, IC9607, IC9604, etc.)

YES

Is IF signal sent from pins (16, 17) of TUNER (TU7501) to pins 
(40, 39) of IC7508 (COFDM-DEMOD.)?

NO

Check the tuner, IC7508 and their peripheral circuits.
Replace as required.

YES

Check whether I2C signal normally communicates between 
TU7501 and IC7508 (COFDM - DEMOD.)

NO

YES

Does X7501 (20.25MHz) oscillate?

NO

Check X7501 and its peripheral circuits.

YES

 Is TS data (FECLK, FESTR_PSYNC, FED_D, FEVAL_DEN) 
being output from IC7508 to IC8101 (DIGITAL AV DECODER & 
MAIN CPU & VIDEO PROCESSER)?

NO

Check whether a control signal is normal between IC7508 and 
IC9101 (CPLD). (FE_RST, N_TUNER_INT, FERR_UNCOR, 
AGCSEL)

YES

Is the TS data input to pin (AE4/FERR_UNCOR), (AG5/FECLK), 
(AF4/FESTR_PSYNC), (AA4/FED_D) and (AF5/FEVAL_DEN) of 
IC5001 (H.264_DECODER)?

NO

Check the line between IC7508 and IC5001.

YES

Is the TMDS signal output from pin (U33, U34/ TMDSH_CLK_P/
N), (T33, T34/ TMDSH_D0_P/N), (R33, R34/ TMDSH_D1_P/N), 
and (P33, P34/ TMDSH_D2_P/N) of IC5001?

NO

Check IC5001 and its peripheral circuits.

YES

Is the TMDS signal input to pin (39, 38/ TMDSH_CLK_P/N), (42, 
41/ TMDSH_D0_P/N), (45, 44/ TMDSH_D1_P/N), and (48, 47/ 
TMDSH_D2_P/N) of IC5301 (TMDS_SW.)?

NO

Check the line between IC5001 and IC5301.

YES

Is the TMDS signal output from pin (26, 27/ TMDS3H_CLK_P/N), 
(23, 24/ TMDS3H_D0_P/N), (20, 21/ TMDS3H_D1_P/N), and 
(17, 18/ TMDS3H_D2_P/N) of IC5301?

NO

Check IC5301 and its peripheral circuits.

YES

Is the TMDS signal input to pin (5, 4/ TMDS3H_CLK_P/N), (8, 7/ 
TMDS3H_D0_P/N), (11, 10/ TMDS3H_D1_P/N), and (14, 13/ 
TMDS3H_D2_P/N) of IC1507 (TMDS_SW.)?

NO

Check the line between IC5301 and IC1507.

YES

Is the TMDS signal output from pin (26, 27/ TMDS_CLK_P/N), 
(23, 24/ TMDS_D0_P/N), (20, 21/ TMDS_D1_P/N), and (17, 18/ 
TMDS_D2_P/N) of IC1507?

NO

Check IC1507 and its peripheral circuits.

YES

Is the TMDS signal input to pin (K1, K2/ TMDS_CLK_P/N), (L1, 
L2/ TMDS_D0_P/N), (M1, M2/ TMDS_D1_P/N), and (N1, N2/ 
TMDS_D2_P/N) of IC8101 (DIGITAL AV DECODER & MAIN 
CPU & VIDEO PROCESSER)?

NO

Check the line between IC1507 and IC8101.

YES
