No sound from HEAD PHONE_OUTPUT/ AUDIO_OUTPUT terminal.
Does not the sound of the audio signal output to Headphone 
mode go out?
Does not the sound of the audio signal output to Audio out 
mode go out?
Check whether it is selected “Headphone” by Headphone/Audio 
out select under Menu-Setup-Option-Terminal setting-Head-
phone/Audio out select.
Check whether it is selected “Audio out” by Headphone/Audio out 
select under Menu-Setup-Option-Terminal setting-Headphone/
Audio out select.
Do audio signals output from pins [2/MONI_HP_R, 3/MONI_HP_L] of J504 (HP Jack/AUDIO OUT)?
Is HP_PLUG [1 pin] of J504 at “H”?
NO

Check the setting of an external input device that connects with 
J504.
And check the line between J504 and IC3303 (Digital AV decode 
& Main CPU).
Is HPOUT_MUTE at “H”?
Is HP_MUTE [AH12] of IC3303 at “H”?
Is AUDIO_MUTE (MUTE_A_ALL) [23 pin] of IC2001 (UCOM) at 
“H”?
YES
Check the line between J504 and HPOUT_MUTE.
(Q506, D2711, IC3303 & IC2001 etc...)
NO
Do audio signals output from pins [2/MONI_HP_L, 11/
MONI_HP_R] of IC2704 (HP-AMP)?
YES
Check the line between IC2704 and J504.
NO
Do audio signals input to pins [1, 12] of IC2704?
YES
Check IC2704 and its peripheral circuits.
NO
Do audio signals (HP_MONITOR_L/R) output from pins [AJ31/
HP_MON_L, AJ32/HP_MON_R] of IC3303?
YES
Check the line between IC3303 and IC2704.
NO
Check IC3303 and its peripheral circuits.
