SYMPTOM Whilst in time-shift recording the following problem may appear.
Audio Description becomes Active even though it is switched off in the menu.
REASON Software issues.
Please Note – This new software includes the 2012 OSD (Not optional)
METHOD Install the latest software available from the Technical Web Site for the model/size.
PLEASE NOTE
We have discovered that some slow USB memory sticks may fail
to operate correctly.
PART 1.
Download the “Bootloader” Firmware
Unzip the 2 files and copy them into the root of a USB memory stick
Turn the TV to Standby mode
Insert the USB memory stick
Press the CH+ on the remote or keypad. The LED on the front of the unit will start to flash
Wait 30 seconds then turn off the TV using the rocker switch
Remove the USB memory stick. Once removed turn on the TV using the rocker switch
Unzip the 2 files and copy them into the root of a USB memory stick
Turn the TV to Standby mode
Insert the USB memory stick
Press the CH+ on the remote or keypad. The LED on the front of the unit will start to flash

PART 2
Download the “Firmware”
Unzip the files (Aprx 18-22) and copy them into the root of a USB memory stick
Turn the TV to Standby mode
Insert the USB memory stick
Press the CH+ on the remote or keypad. The LED on the front of the unit will start to flash
After the update is completed, the TV will turn on

FIRMWARE CONFIRMATION
Press MENU, SETTINGS, OTHER SETTINGS
Check the “Software Upgrade” version is correct
Check the “Software Upgrade” version is correct
RESET UNIT AND OTHER SETTINGS
Press MENU, INSTALL & RETUNE, FIRST TIME INSTALLATION
Wait for the unit to reset and complete the FIRST TIME INSTALLATION
Once the unit has completed FIRST TIME INSTALLATION, press MENU, SETTINGS,

Check “Standby Search” is OFF
