[2] Adjustment
When replacing the LCD control PCB, follow these steps to adjust VCOM.
Before starting the VCOM adjustment
1) Check the connecting cable shown in the figure.
For this connecting cable, either QCNW-E599WJQZ or QCNW-F046WJQZ is used depending on the production lot.
2) When using QCNW-E599WJQZ, replace it with QCNW-F046WJQZ to perform VCOM adjustment.
After the adjustment, reconnect QCNW-E599WJQZ.
(For the service jig, refer to LC-37XD1E/RU No.S47E1LC37XD1E.)
Method of VCOM adjustment
1) Enter the adjustment process mode.
2) Select the item [VCOM ADJ] using the cursor (

/ ) or P (
)/(
) keys on the remote controller.
3) Press the OK key to check that the adjustment pattern is displayed.
4) Adjust the flicker in the middle of the screen to minimum using the cursor (
/ ) or P (
)/(
) keys on the remote controller.
5) Press the OK key to turn off the pattern.
6) To exit the adjustment process mode after the adjustment is done, unplug the AC cord from the outlet to make a forced shutdown. (When the
power was turned off with the remote controller, once unplug the AC cord and plug it again. In this case, wait 10 seconds or so before plugging.)
