SYMPTOM Unit cycles through various functions for no apparent reason.
CAUSE
Unit is in the demonstration mode.
The demonstration mode cycles through some of the functions available on the
television. There are four demonstration modes, each one of which can be timed for
10, 15 or 30 seconds:

Switching between input sources - TV, EXT1, EXT2, EXT3 and EXT4.

Picture freeze.

It is possible that these may be misinterpreted as a fault with the television.
ACTION
If the demonstration mode is enabled, press the menu button on the remote control
and go to the option menu, then demo and turn it off.
