REMOVING OF MAJOR PARTS
1. Remove the PC card cover.
2. Remove the five top cabinet retaining screws and slide the top cabinet backward to remove it.
3. Remove the four side cover retaining screws on both the right and left sides and slide the side covers
backward to remove them.
4. Remove the one front panel retaining screws and remove the front panel.
5. Remove the five bottom cabinet retaining screws and slide the bottom panel backward to remove it.
6. Remove the five PC I/F shield (Top) retaining screws and remove the PC I/F shield (Top).
7. Remove the four screws securing the main unit angle and remove the angle upward.
8. Remove the four screws securing the main unit to the angle and remove the main PWB.

9. Remove the system/control terminal retaining:
9-1. Remove the four hex head screws securing the terminals of the system cable.
9-2. Remove the nine rear chassis retaining screws.
10. Remove the PC I/F and Audio I/F units:
10-1. Remove the six PC I/F unit retaining screws and remove the unit.
10-2. Remove the one PC I/F shield (Bottom) retaining screws and remove the Shield.
10-3. Remove the two Audio I/F unit retaining screws and remove the Audio I/F unit.
11. Remove the rear panel.
11-1. Remove the two hex head screws securing the terminals of RS-232C.
11-2. Remove the five rear panel retaining screws.
11-3. Remove the two power unit reaining screws and remove the rear panel.
12. Remove the three power unit retaining screws and remove the power unit.

13. Remove the AV and Digital units:
13-1. Remove the six AV unit retaining screws and remove the AV unit.
13-2. Remove the three AV unit angle retaining screws and remove the angle.
13-3. Remove the five Digital unit retaining screws and remove the Digital unit.
14. Remove unit from the front chassis and fan:
14-1. Remove the two hex head screws and four screws securing the front shield to the front chassis and
remove the front shield.
14-2. Remove the one screws securing the front unit and remove the unit.
14-3. Remove the two cooling fan retaining screws and remove the cooling fan.
14-4. Detach the cooling fan.

  1. Remove the top and bottom terminal covers.
  2. Remove the four lock screws from the speaker. Disconnect the speaker terminals and detach the speaker.
  3. Remove the four lock screws from the stand, and detach the stand.
  4. Remove the 18 lock screws from the cabinets A and B, and remove the cabinet B.
  5. Remove the two lock screws from the operation PWB assembly, and detach the operation PWB assembly.
  6. Remove the lock screw from the operation PWB insulating sheet, and detach the operation PWB insulating sheet.
  7. Remove the seven lock screws from the main PWB shield, and detach the main PWB shield.
  8. Remove the four lock screws from the stand fixture, and detach the stand fixture.
