Color system setting

1. Feed the PAL video signal.

1. If “PAL” is not found in the last part of the 1st line,

press [ 5 ] key of the remote controller to switch to
“PAL”.

PAL BRIGHT
adjustment

1. Feed the color bar signal

carrying PAL composite
100% white and 0% white
(pedestal black).

(Example)

1. Adjust (P3L1) C PAL BRIGHT, so that the pedestal

black portion has the largest green area. If there is
no change against lowering the value, it is likely that
the adjustment point (“a” in the figure below) is
deviated from the correct point. In this case, once try
to increase the adjustment value.

PAL CONTRAST
adjustment

1. Feed the color bar signal

carrying PAL composite
100% white and 0% white
(pedestal black).

1. Adjust (P3L2) C PAL CONTRAST, so that the 100%

white portion has the largest green area.

No. 3 “BRIGHT adjustment
value copy” has already
been done, this item can
