Connecting the Rewriting Jig and PC
Connect the rewriting jig and PC as shown in the example below.
(A laptop computer is used in the example. Use a PC with an ECP-compliant parallel port.)
Connecting the Rewriting Jig
Follow the steps below to connect the rewriting jig to the service terminal connector
on the back of the unit and activate the unit rewriting mode.

Turn off AC power of the AVC center (unplug AC adapter).
2.
Remove cabinet B on the back of the unit.
3.
Connect the rewriting jig to the upgrading terminal.
