SYMPTOM When switching the television on or off, a 'pop' is heard from the loudspeakers.
CAUSE
DC voltage being applied to the loudspeakers.
ACTION
Take the following action whenever one of the above models comes in for service.
1. Remove the heatsink on IC1301.
2. Replace C1319 by fitting it in series with C1377 (see picture below).
3. Replace C1320 by fitting it in series with C1376 (see picture below).
4. Replace the heatsink on IC1301 (ensure that the silicon has not been removed).
2. Replace C1319 by fitting it in series with C1377 (see picture below).
3. Replace C1320 by fitting it in series with C1376 (see picture below).
4. Replace the heatsink on IC1301 (ensure that the silicon has not been removed).
