SYMPTOM A buzzing noise can be heard coming from the internal speakers when the brightness
level is set to medium or dark.
CAUSE
Noise from the inverter circuit enters the audio stage via the ground line.
ACTION
Whenever a unit comes in for service, that is between the serial numbers indicated
below, fit the jumper wire as shown.

1. Cut the ground PWB track as shown on page 2.
2. Add the jumper wire between L3301 and pin 10 of IC3301.
2. Add the jumper wire between L3301 and pin 10 of IC3301.
Note
•
When soldering the jumper lead to L3301 and IC3301, ensure that the maximum
height of the connection is no greater than 3mm.
•
Ensure that the maximum height of the wire no greater than 5mm.
