SYMPTOM Set fails to come on (HT present), Text position incorrect, AV audio levels low or
other peculiar symptoms associated with software
CAUSE
Possible Data corruption to the NVM, or poor default values written after blanking or
replacement.
ACTION
1.  Reflash the NVM with the default data from this site – ensuring the correct
data is applied for the CRT type and Device permutations (see CTV 2002 04 01)
Please Note :
After blanking or replacing the NVM many default values written by the software in the set will not be the optimum,
please download the correct NVM file for the CRT type and Device permutations of the set. These can be found by
looking up the model number and going to the ‘Eprom/NVM file’ section.
In exceptional circumstances you may wish to check the details listed on Page2. For guidance

Adjust the picture geometry, AFT and AGC setting using the instructions given in the service
manual.
Adjust the grey scale using the instructions given in Technical Bulletin CTV2000 01 04.
For the 66GF63H, 66GF64H and 76GF64H models only, check that at the data values given
below are as shown.  This will ensure that the audio level from the SCART input is correct.
