Noise from the CRT at switch on corrupting the operation of IC201.
ACTION
Refering to the diagrams below and on page 2, carry out the following circuit

1. Add zener diodes D510 and D511to pins 63 and 64 of IC201.
2. Replace J122 with a 12uH peaking coil.
3. Add zener diode D403 to pin 30 of IC201.
