SYMPTOM During standby, intermittent noise may be heard from the SCART socket, if it is
connected to an external amplifier.
ACTION
Carry out the following circuit change if required.
1. 
Solder a 180R resistor in series with a 1N4148 diode as shown below.
2. 
Solder 90mm wire to end of resistor as shown below.
3. 
Put above into vynil tube.
4. 
Connect the anode of the diode to base of Q345 and the wire to the collector of
Q1007 as shown on page 2.
5. 
Fix components into place with use of glue.
