REASON
There are two types of IC used in this chassis for IC502, IC1002 and IC1003.
The part number given in the service manual is for a DIL device – VHIBA4-558//-1,
however some later chassis use a SMD device.
ACTION
When replacing any of these IC’s, use the part number in the service manual for the
DIL device or the part number given below for the SMD device.
