To  enjoy  a  clearer  picture,  we  recommend  that  you  use  an  outdoor  antenna. The  following  is  a  brief
explanation of types of connection that are used for coaxial and feeder cables:

Combination VHF/UHF Antennas

After unpacking the set, check to make sure that the following accessories are included:

(1) If  your  outdoor  an-

tenna uses a 75-ohm
coaxial cable, with a
standard  DIN45325
plug (IEC169-2), plug
it  into  the  antenna
jack at the rear of the
set.

(2) If  your  outdoor  an-

tenna  uses  a  300-
ohm  twin-lead  flat
feeder, change this
for a 300-ohm to 75-
ohm impedance con-
verter and plug it into
the antenna jack at
the rear of the set.
