SYMPTOM Malfunction of the vertical drive circuit leading to possible failure of the CRT.
CAUSE
Memory loss.
ACTION
Replace IC500, using the part number given below.
Carry out the following:
1.  Set ADJUST 159 (interlace) in the service mode to 128.
2.  In the Install menu, set the colour system to PAL.
