SYMPTOM Set goes to standby on bright scenes or channel change.
Phosphor burn can occur in certain fault conditions.
CAUSE
Over sensitive beam current monitor.
ACTION
Change zener diode D1307 from a 5.2V device to a 6.1V device.
This circuit was only fitted to sets manufactured after the serial numbers given below:

This circuit change is not applicable to models produced before these serial numbers.
Location of D1307 underneath the line output transformer (T601)
