Upgrade the software to REL111 as described below.
1. Connect the projector and the PC via a RS232 cross connection cable.

Rewriting the software:
1. Unzip the file Z10-V111.zip (this can be found on the Sharp Technical Web under
this model) to a suitable directory on your computers hard drive.
2. Double click on the "FlashUpgrader.exe" file. The window shown below will
appear.
3. Click on the choose button.
4. Select folder Z10-111. Then select file pwSDK.inf

5. Make sure that Continueous Flash mode and Notify on Completion are unchecked.
6. Make sure that Reset Target After Download is checked.

9. Connect the mains lead to the projector and turn it on - software re-writing will start
automatically.
10. When writing is complete the window below will appear.

Setting up after rewritting
After rewriting the software, it will be necessary to reset the language, eco mode etc.
