2. General
Before 1500 hours of the lamp use at around 1000 hours, the units shut down with lighting
the caution indicator LAMP.
3. Servicing
When you had a service call from a customer about no lamp lighting, please take the
following steps:
1) When the lamp lights in switching OFF/ON with Main Power Switch:
1-1) Replace the ROM (IC5003) with the improved ROM.
1-2) Without resetting the timer, the unit operates up to 1500 hours.
1-3) When reached to 1500 hours use, replace the lamp and then reset the timer.
2) When the lamp does not light even switched OFF/ON with Main Power Switch:
2-1) Replace the lamp.
2-2) Replace the ROM (IC5003) with the improved ROM.
2-3) Reset the timer.
Please take the steps 2) above when replacing the lamp for maintenance.
Remark: The ROM (IC5003) is located on the OUTPUT UNIT PWB (K9346DE).
The ROM (IC5003) is socket type, so no soldering is needed to replace it.
