In case of PG-M20S

Tools required:
•  PC which have the Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition operating system and the USB

interface

• USB Cable

Process is same as PG-M20X. But, firmware to write is different.
PG-M20S software is M20S_firmware.zip.

Note:

1.Installing Tera Term Pro(communication program) to the PC
1-3.  Copying the update files into the PC.

Decompress “M20S_firmware.zip” and then copy the following files in the folder to the
“c:\PROGRAM FILES\TTERMPRO” folder in which the Tera Term Pro has been
installed.
Files(5 files):

fwp_m20s.TTL, pj_jffs_m20s.bwh,
Tera192.ini, Teraterm.ini, comsearch.ttl

Old firmware version is “M20S020807” or ”M20S0829” or ”M20S0928” or ”M20S0918”.

“AA” version

 is 

“M20S020807”

 or 

”M20S0829”

Latest version is “M20S021212”.

1.  Updating the firmware for M20S

1-1. Preparations

(1)  Turn on the projector and wait until the start-up is finished. If the auto search is

running, stop it by inputting a signal or pressing the INPUT key.

(2)  To call the process mode, press the buttons in order of below. (within 5

seconds)
AV MUTE, AV MUTE, ▲, ▼, ENTER, ENTER, MENU
If you failed to call the process mode (the menu will appear), press the MENU
button to close the menu, and then try again to call the process mode after
waiting for about five seconds.

(3)  The process menu appears on the screen. Check the firmware version.

If the program version is “M20S020807” or “M20S020829”, then this unit is
“AA” version. The additional step is required in the paragraph (2-1(6)).
