Overview
This checklist will help you prepare for the installation of FIT101087873.exe

Issue addressed with this release
  A patch to block Windows 10 notification and installation on Fiery servers.
Description of the issue
EFI has been working with Microsoft to determine how to disable both the “Get Windows 10” notification
as well as the ability to upgrade a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 system to Windows 10.  Microsoft has
informed us that this can be accomplished by updating two registry keys that enforce OS level policies.  The
patch created by EFI creates and sets these two registry keys. They are

  To remove the "Get Windows 10" notification, set
HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Gwx[DisableGwx] = 1

  To turn off upgrades to the latest version of Windows (a system policy),
Under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
Create DWORD:DisableOSUpgrade=1

Once the patch is installed, the "Get Windows 10" notification will no longer pop up and the system will not
be allowed to be upgraded to Windows 10, which is scheduled to become available on July 29, 2015.
