1.Model Name: MX-M850/M950/M1100 
 
2.Symptom: 
If the hopper relay harness of the toner hopper unit protrudes from the toner 
hopper resin, the harness may be caught in the toner hopper unit and 
disconnected when the developer tank is mounted or demounted. This 
disconnection may cause toner not to be supplied (F2-02 trouble). 
 
COUNTERMEASURES TAKEN WHEN TONER IS NOT SUPPLIED 
DUE TO DISCONNECTION OF TONER HOPPER UNIT HARNESS 
(F2-02 TROUBLE).

measure: 
From the middle of December 2007 production, we are changing harness 
processing (harness twisting one or two times) so that the hopper relay harness 
does not protrude from the toner hopper resin. 
 
4.Permanent 
measure: 
We will add a toner hopper harness protection sheet to the toner hopper unit from 
the middle of January 2008 production. 
 
- Mounting the toner hopper harness protection sheet 
Insert the toner hopper harness protection sheet into the hole of the 

toner hopper motor fixing plate. 
•  Wipe the surface to which the protection sheet is attached with 
alcohol.
