CHANGED TO LCD OF THE OPERATION PANEL UNIT

2.Description: 

The manufacturer of the LCD used in the operation panel unit has been changed to CHIMEI. 

 

Due to the LCD change, the operation panel unit, LVDS PWB, and the LCD holder A/B have 
been changed, the LCD inverter PWB has been removed, and the LCD ground sheet has been 
added. 
 
Also, the ICU-ROM version has been upgraded. So, please make sure to upgrade the ICU-
ROM version to “0200d3” or higher before replacing the before change LCD with the after 
change LCD. (Refer to T/R No. ARE-1029/1033.) 
Changes of the LCD, the LVDS PWB, and the LCD holder A/B, removal of the LCD inverter 
PWB, and addition of the LCD ground sheet can all be changed at once. Note that each piece 
cannot be replaced one-by-one from old to new. 
Please note that the before change parts can be used as it is supplied as a service parts.
