COUNTERMEASURE FOR DEVELOPER 
LEAKAGE FROM REAR SIDE OF DV UNIT 
 
1. Model Name: 
MX-M264N/M314N/M354N/M264U/M314U/M354U, MX-M260/M260N/M310/M310N 
 
2. Symptom: 
There were some cases where MG holder was not mounted all the way agaisnt DV MG   
 
roller when assembling DV unit, and consequently MG roller would lean to the drive side   
 
by approx. 3mm against DV unit.    As the result, the bearing sustaining MG roller would   
 
unevenly be worn out by the vibration caused by repeatedly printing and then drop off   
 
from DV unit, which might result in the leakage of developer. 
 
3. Description: 
From October 2013 production, DV unit assembing jig has been reviewed and also the   
 
insepction items after assembling have been added so that the mounting work of MG   
 
holder of MG rolller F side shaft has been enhanced. 
 
4. Action: 
To prevent the bearing from dropping off, mount 2~4pcs of washers (LX-WZ0461FCZZ)   
 
to MG roller shaft.    Please see the attached procedure manual.
